Through the many hours I have spent on the EB forums I have heard various AI empires and nations being called different nicknames.

Ill list the most prevalent ones.

Silver death-Arche Seluekia

Yellow death-Yellow Fever-Ptolimies

Blue Giant-Baktria

the question I have is has anyone heard any others or can anyone come up with anyothers?

Also are there any great no-diadochi empires in your game?

Heh, well I think one of the "Deaths" should be changed so as to have more variety... maybe the :skull: Yellow Plague :skull: as I believe I saw mentioned somewhere. And if Parthia ever becomes a prominent enough empire, the Purple Party Poopers might be a suitable nickname. :belly:

Now that I haven't seen Rome expand beyond the Alps to central Europe, the nickname "bloodclot" doesn't seem to apply anymore... Sad, I thought it was pretty clever.

It was once in an AAR the KH was fighting the getai and I believe it was the first place I saw the itcy dwarfse

because in the very funny AAR "The World According to the Koinon" by Quirinius Kuhlmann the Getai are called "the dwarfes behind the mountains".

TBH I've never understood it either, why does being behind some mountains make them itchy?

They seem to do a bit better in 1.0 though

I once saw Makedonia beeing reffered to as "the black death". No comment on how imaginative the author was...

Well in vanilla Parthia was referred to as "the Purple Pajama People". And I've seen some AAR authors call the Gauls things like "smelly mimes" with "hairy wives.":laugh4: I think that was in a KH AAR.

If I'm helping out one of the gaulic tribes, usually I ally with one or the other, and one becomes dominant and then sometimes will go on a real-estate grabbing rampage.

When this happens, I will sometimes refer to the dominant gaulic tribe as the Green Monster. So original, I know :book:

Thats probebly in RTR.. Macedon conquered Greece, Getai and into Asia minor every single game.

We need one for Sweboz. They seem to rule the Northern Europe quite often.

but i mean it makes sense... the Sweboz used to crush everything so fast and unnoticed... now as Getai i used Lugii and Boii to act as a barrier to soften them before inevitable war... then I capture some more territory and then give away pockets of Germania to turn it into a giant squabbling proto-HolyRomanEmpire
