View Full Version : can't download old water sprites from site

don't get me wrong, i love the new cloud reflections on the water. i really do and great job to the creator of them, but my computer can just barely handle eb as it is, therefore i have the longest turns ever. i could read a book in between turns. i've been playing eb for quite a awhile, since the first release so im used to the slightly longer load times and turns but i really can't play just a few turns a day! i need more eb! :yes:


oh yeah, back on track. when i try to download the old rtw reflections from the site i just get a big page of random text. i'm guessing the file was not uploaded properly or maybe my computer for some reason won't download it.


maybe someone who has downloaded it could tell me how they did it.

Ok, I've checked it out...Seems you have to right click > Save as

LOL... I DO read a book between turns, and that's with the old water, oh well, new comp is on the way :2thumbsup:

My turn times are a little longer, but I just can't bring myself to get rid of those beautiful cloud reflections....:no:

i know! its so hard they are really gorgeous and go well with the new land textures. but im running out of things to read and my getai need some commanding.


edit- oh and thank you i will right click and save, i should've thought of that.!

I'm curious where can I download the old water sprite. I think the new sprite is slowing down my pc and i dont really like the look of the new sprite.

It doesn't slow your PC down. The file is exactly the same size and exactly equally demanding in terms of PC resources as the old one is. Scripting; Traiting etc. those things cause the real lag.

Thought of the day (j/k): why is it people complain about AI turns when in fact the same people take more time to make their own desicions than the other 20 factions combined do? Huh? I mean were the AI to have the means to post here we'd be getting all sorts of "OMG why are those Humans so excruciatingly slow?!!" posts. Granted: the AI doesn't perform quite as intelligent as them humans do, though...
