Video Options : How to lock them ?

I've just observed that launching the game anew the video options are reset to their default settings.

It is so when launching the Med2.exe but also with the Kingdoms Campaigns shortcuts...

Do any of you know a way to avoid to painstaking moments of setting up video anew each time I launch a game ? :wall:

I seem to remember that before I reinstalled prior to Kingdoms install, the settings were kept on quitting the game...

Hmmmm, mine stay the way I put them...

There must be something strange going on with your medieval2.preference.cfg file where all your settings are stored. My guess is that you need to be under an Administrator account in Windows in order for the game to be able to edit it. If you ARE on an Admin account please post back and I'll think about it some more.

PS. If you have ZoneAlarm or some other security program, that might be the culprit.

Actually the game just doesn't like the setting. Fix it by making the preference file read-only.

Nevermind me and my stoopid :dizzy2: question : I had made the file read-only before the settings...

I've just remembered that must be it and it was...:wall:
