1st-Person Interactive with multiple choices
Combatants:
1. Mexican Socialist Republic
2. Confederate States of America
Your Command
"Rocky Top" VI Corp Commander, James McCullough
Divisions: 3rd North Carolina, 2nd Tennessee, 10th Texan Armored
Fort Stuart, Santa Fe.
In the year 1938, the Confederate States of America was at war with Mexico over the southern border. The Confederate States of America and the United States had maintained an amiable if competitive relationship, but with the First World War, everything changed. The Confederate State support of the British and French tipped the scales against Germany, but the economic depression that followed shook the world from one end to the other.
Now as the Confederate States of America pulls itself out of the violent July Uprising, the new President Gerald O’Kelly decides to flex his new muscle. Public projects, suppression of the blacks, and removal of illegal immigrants were the top of his list. In December of 1937, he begins Operation Wetback. The deportation of the illegal immigrants began.
Three weeks later, the Confederate United States is rocked by the January Rising, as Mexican enclaves in New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas rose up with Communist Mexican weaponry. Launching putative raids against the Mexican government, an uneasy stalemate results. The Mexican government is under pressure to reply in kind, but are afraid of further Confederate State responses. The Confederate States of America knows that Mexico is unwilling to commit to war, but is afraid of more uprisings.
The scales tip as the Spanish Civil War ignites, where the Fascist Germans support Francisco Franco, and the Republicans are supported by the Soviets. The Mexican government sends soldiers to support the Republicans. The new ’Aztec Legion’ trains with Soviet weaponry along with Mexican weapons. The combat experience is brought back to Mexico, where they are scattered into the many corps, training them for the day….
The day came on March 11th, 1938.
