This will be the thread where Governors, or, in fewer cases, the Shophet himself, can post the results of the Empire's latest battles. Screenshots are strongly encouraged. For those of you unaware of how to create and post screenshots you can find a quick guide I made HERE (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=92762 ).
This will also be the place where players can divulge more information about their characters through stories. I encourage the use of traits and/or ancillaries, although it certainly isn't required. Feel free to be more expressive here. Screenshots are again, encouraged, although surely not as necessary as those needed for battle reports.
Well, have fun!!

--- In the two days succeeding the first meeting of the newly reformed Senatorial Commission, Hanno, with a personal vanguard made a forcibly rushed journey in returning to Lepki in order that he could address the city before any of his lesser Senators could arrive.
Creating a bench and a hearing outside in the courtyard of the government palace, and having already stirred the people in his favour on achieving the status of military governor, the citizens came in great troops to hear his speeches, and he met them accordingly ---
Youngers, elders, strongers, wisers, all masters of the city - Lepki!
I am returned to the province you most absolutely control as the citizenry of this, the greatest stronghold in the empire of the Qarthadastim!
Come closer to the podium, see how ringed and blackened my eyes are, see how the wrinkles of my features have exaggerated themselves - hear how my own voice, which did scourge the random efforts of the council, now struggles to defeat even the silence that you have allowed me!
Oh I have not rested, and have not yet through my conscience been capable of an hours reprieve.
When I was amongst the capital, I never slept, for the fear that one of the half-bred men from the western empire would enroach upon your rights and your powers!
For this reason, from the moment I arrived within Kart-Hadast, I entered the Senator's forum before Mago himself was announced.
And from there I did not leave, I begged Laikades bring my supper to the entrance of the forum!
Oh masters, decisions are not made with either your honour or your grievances in mind by the Senate.
They address this province as though it were but wild terrain where exotic herds of bull and goat may be found.
Truthfully it can be said, and sorrowfully said, that until I made my speeches of gratitude on the subject of treatment I have recieved here in my exile - the commoners who dwell in Kart-Hadast thought Lepki to be but a colony of semi-nomadic Numidians!
Please!
Please! I know this would infuriate you, Laikades did nearly witness Hanno weep, when the true attitudes of the capital were revealed in the Senate!
But do not be anguished by the thoughts and feelings of the capital and the empire in general.
It is their own leader, and governors, that are the ones who allow this impression to flourish among the population.
Counsellors like Mago are the men who slyly will these incorrections to grow in the minds of his subjects - he encourages them!
And yet he is the favourable candidate for Shophet within the Senate!
I bore all of these insidious and seditious slanderisms with great patience though, great patience, and I held my virtue - what little I possess of my vanquished spirit - high as a shield to protect the dignity of this city from disdainful battery!
There are ways that we can use our intelligence as a lever, to force the greed of the Senatorial Commission to our advantage here in Lepki.
I, Hanno, though fatigued and brutally hampered by my constant physical and mental damages and depressions, will be he who does, with this lever, displace the hideous rock that is the Senate that the empire may see the jewellery and commanding elegance harnessed by every child of Lepki!
Lords! Now allow the aching of my throat to cease, and my ears to hear the wishes and decrees of the just and wise Senate that lives in all of you - Today I note and check the desires of all who would speak!
