Hi all, first things first, congratulation on the mod, it's just what every antiquity warmonger to be has ever waited for.
I'm thinking about making a tabletop roleplaying game in that time scope for a certain time now and i'm finally ready (and time-free) to make it now.
I have gathered a good batch of musical scores to enhance the game experience but i'm looking to have an extra flavour with battle sounds and guys shouting orders in the ancient langage, i was looking to use those of EB but there are hidden far in DAT files.
Is there a way to open the files and extract the sounds i'm looking for?
If this can be done that would be just great. Btw, if anyone has ideasconcerning OST that i could use (have already gladiator, rome, alexander, troy, 300, titus, prince of persia OSTs), i'm open to suggestions.

Mmh... did i say something wrong or can just nobody help me?
I don't think there are any copyrights problem and i just intend to use the sounds around my rpg table if that's the matter. (no, i'm not paranoid)

You did not say anything wrong, I have posted about your request in EBH. But I do not know how to do what you ask, so you'll have to wait until someone reacts to that. Possibly noone knows though.

Ok, thanks a lot nevertheless. I thought that, as the EB team managed to introduce new musics and sounds someone would probably know how to open and modify and extract the files in there.

My best guess is that you could do something with Audacity. Not certain though and setup might be tedious.

I'm not sure what you mean by .DAT files. Can you explain?

All files can be found in the map: EB/Data/sounds/*insert voice*. All are .Wav (ADPCM) files.
Relaying information from EBH. Hope it's of help :beam:.
