View Full Version : Modding dunce
What I am wanting to do is create a campaign map which has less settlements which are inline with Roman provinces for example in Iberia, Nearer and further Spain. As you have probable gathered with the title of this thread I can't do it myself, I have seen various threads which go through the process of modding the campaign though and it quite frankly baffles me. Is there any mods out there which have a campaign ,ap like the one I am suggesting?

I'm really not at all sure what you are asking here, but I think you mean, is there a map where the cities and provs are given native names and divided as the natives did, rather then roman provinces?
Well, in that case I would of course have to recomend Europa Barbarorum (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=70), which is quite simply the best mod at anything, and does indeed have a specific policy of naming and marking provinces according to the laungage/boundaries recognized by the locals, rather than all roman names/provinces that we see in Vannila. And, of course, vanila can't even get that right, since most of the barbarian towns use the incorect "locus."
So as you can see, what I think is that Vannila exists for the sole purpose of being modded in general, and specifacly to allow EB to exist.:2thumbsup:
Ahh yes I see now that what I said does not make much sense and is very misleading. Actually, I meant for settlements/ provinces called things like Italian Gaul, Further Spain and Asia Province.
I would of course have to recomend Europa Barbarorum, which is quite simply the best mod at anything :inquisitive:
Especially map.
You can rename them (provinces), btw.
