Quick question regarding artillery

How do I stop my artillery from firing? I tried unclicking Fire at will but to no effect.

Ouch! Hate that friendly fire, I imagine that catapult crew is being drawn and quartered as we speak. Try using the halt button, top left, to stop them from firing.
