I'm using an NVidia GForce 7300 GT, and I get severe graphical glitches before EB crashes completely. I've tried updating my drivers, tweaking the hardware acceleration, and no luck.
So - is anyone using an NVidia 7 series graphic card with EB? And if so, which driver version are you using?

Just a bit more info... RTW vanilla runs fine, no graphics errors, no artifacts, etc. The graphics issues I'm encountering with EB start within about 30 seconds of starting a campaign, and I've had it crash a couple of times now in the options menus, prior to even starting a game.
This is my second install of EB and RTW, and the EB Validation program is telling me that my installation is good.

Have you tried to increase your swap file, and the other technical tips linked in the validation thread?

Yes, I followed the tips in the link provided, minus switching my anti-virus software to AVG. No dice.

Gents, thanks for the help. Turned out to be a bad video card - just installed a new one, and EB runs beautifully. Wonderful job on the mod, by the way - it looks and feels much more finished than it did before.

Oh dear god. Where did you get that from, the British Museum?
I think you should consider an upgrade, even a very cheap budget card today should be a huge improvement over that. It's no wonder EB won't run on it.

Has been only two month I got a new computer, a brand new one from the HP trademark, the best on market yet besides one mounted especially for you, containning with a Pentium D 925, 1GB DDR2 RAM, a 250 SATA HD, and only a ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 graphic ... So the museum may be the entire industry depending in wich country they are working, I am convinced they use the spare parts of EUA an Europes yore :furious3: , a decent Graphic card, say a G-force 8900 series would cost about 1/3 the price of the above described machine:shame:

Well a Geforce 8900 is not necessary for EB, but Geforce 2 MX is, well, not good. It's a budget model from around 2000 I think. If that was the best hardware available to me I would be like this a lot of the time: :furious3: :wall:
