Your issue was probably that the website is actually 'twcenter.net' ~;)

What is this "Instagibbed" thing that seems to randomly turn up in topics all over the guild?

And it doesn't show as a post underneath when you are writting your own as well.

Is is something to do with banning?

Hi Pharnakes,
What is this "Instagibbed" thing that seems to randomly turn up in topics all over the guild?Instagibbed is permanent ban which hides all of ones posts and their username from others in the public area. As you have seen, it replaces them with the word "Instagibbed". Its designed for bots or similar non-entities who arrive the with the primary suppose of causing trouble.

The term comes from FPS (First Person Shooter Games), in which the "Instagib" is a merciless weapon which instantly disintegrates somebody into "gibs" in one shot. "Gibs", btw, are fragments of body parts. As you may expect, in the more graphically rich games of the FPS genre, its not a very pleasant sight to watch.

Hope this is useful to you ~:)

It's a script that will replace all posts by a member with that phrase ~:)

There is a very bloody one that has just been released, is there not?

But I thought that was soliders of fortune 2? Or prehaps its soldiers of fortune 3 that has just been released?

EDIT:Just saw an advert at the bottom of the guild; turns out the new game is soldiers of fortune:payback, and yes, it will satisfy anyone's desire for gore.

Not that I know of, it's www.twcenter.net, great forum with a lot going on. Used to be a totalwars.net splinter from the org, dedicated to MP gaming. Dunno what happened to it.

Pharnakes thing about SOF2 was how much fun it was, the gore was just comical. I really had a LOT of fun with that game, in multiplayer. Some videos from multiplayer:

Warning: Parental Guidance 13
Northern Darkness FragVid. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoEN4ht0yV8)

Gore Vid 2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSNbLDZ8eFo&feature=related)

Then ofc there's the best FPS ever, for pure tactical value:
America's Army FragVid 1 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cIyOk7NhtY&feature=related). This is a good one!
America's Army FragVid 2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okOsQ7rQG1U&feature=related)
enJOY!
