manual and tech tree

I finally have bought the game 3 days ago, but I noticed there isn't any documentation on the CD like Shogun which came with a PDF manual and a PDF tree.

Did I just miss it or something, or are they really not there. Also, if they aren't there, is anyone going to do a really nice high quality scan of the tech tree (and/or the manual) so we can have it as a jpg/pdf?

Should we make teams to start scanning the manual and publishing it in the web?

Shogun TW included a pdf of the Way of the Daimyo, which was a "coffee table" history of Japan to get you in the mood, set the scene and so forth.

But, generally speaking, including the how-to manual and any tech tree documents as .PDFs on the CD is tantamount is nice, but not sensible. Not having the full documentation helps to discourage casual piracy.
