Removing shrubbery from battles

I have come to the conclusion that the shrubs look rubbish, does anyone have any idea how to remove them?

Also, arrows seem to be staying in the ground and not fading, which is murdering my frame rate.How do i make them fade again?

Tis said that the Knights who say 'NI!!' will remove your shrubbery, and in return will tell the way to the mystical castle of AAaarrrrgh.

Alternatively, if you wish to know the true way, first, you must cut down the largest tree in the forest .... with... a Herring.

Right im fairly sure the arrows are controlled from descr_projectiles. Does anyone have any experience with that file?

Still no luck with the bushes
