Stratmap bug

Sometimes when I load a game up, the land on the stratmap looks like the ocean except for a few patches of land and the cities, but most of the time the map loads correctly. Do you guys know what causes this?

I've heard of that before, I don't think anyone ever figured it out. It is probably related to your graphics card.

In my case it was due to the graphic card drivers - so i recommend to change them (not necessary for the newest ones)
