you have to switch the EDU file, from the current one to the one that says something along the lines of "multiplayer EDU" and rename it to the normal name where its normally found. sorry if that's unclear but im really tired. found in the "sp game edu backup" folder

In your EB folder, find the folder called "sp game edu backup" and in that folder is the file that you require. If it's not called "export_descr_unit" (aka EDU), then rename it to that.
Next, you copy it, and then paste it in the "data" folder in your EB folder. If you have its name right, it'll say something along the lines of "do you want to replace the existing file with blah with the same name?" and you click "yes". Once that is done, it should work correctly.
DON'T forget to save the EDU file originally found in the EB/Data folder somewhere safe, BEFORE you replace it with the above mentioned file. Lest your campaigns become dysfunctional.
Hope that helps, as this thing-I-just-mentioned-that-might-pass-for-an-explanation was done right before I plan on going to sleep.

In a stage of complete and utter madness, I think I might have deleted the folder off of my desktop. Is there anyway I can get it again. I still have my EB shortcut and I can still play the game, but I can't seem to find that damn little manilla folder
Use 7-zip to extract the files you need from the EB installer.
