Imagine a game like Thief, where cover and blending in with the crowd is what you're supposed to do, and completing a mission without disturbance is the peak to be aspired to. Now imagine someone playing the game with the aim of shooting and hacking his way through, with as high a bodycount as possible.
Warning: bad language, plentiful violence and high levels of gore.

It is funny how many of my hitman missions often devolve into this after my carefully crafted plan falls apart... :laugh4:

This amuses me greatly because I just started a new Blood Money campaign the other night. I managed to get Silent Assassin on all levels so far, and I'm up to Death on the Mississippi.
EDIT: I seriously ROFL'ed at the 1UP in the HNTPH: Part 1

I guess on a more critical note, I would argue parts of the game are actually much easier to blow through like you are playing CoD than to sneak through... I guess that is why the reward mechanic has higher points for being all silent...

The best is #15 "Steamboat Willie", for the sheer absurdity.
In an effort to add to the hilarity, I present the BEST game walkthrough ever written:
Coral Cache Link (http://www.it-he.org.nyud.net/deus.htm) as the main site is overloaded.
:balloon2:
( Link to main site (http://www.it-he.org.nyud.net/index.htm) also. )
Edit - If you haven't already and intend on playing Deus Ex in the future, DO NOT click my links! If you have, or haven't and don't intend to/don't care, then go ahead. It's funnier if you've played it.

The both links go to the same host.
Erm, one is directly to the Deus Ex walkthrough, the other is to the site itself (which is more funny stuff).

I didn't say the links' webpages are the same, I said links' hosts ( www.it-he.org.nyud.net ) are the same. If one host is overcrowded, causing lag and/or 404 errors due to connectivity (like what happened to me earlier with it), it doesn't matter how many webpages you link from it, they all are going to be fubared.
