No Traits bug? [Archive]

I don't know if this is a bug.. but..

see this thread of my campaign

And then just say how is it possible that non of my Generals of Familly members (not even level 4 gover. generals) have any - And I mean Not A SIngle Trait?

Not even when I click after marriges when I check who that is - in my Macedon Campaign Everyone has some traits - no matter who he is - and these FMembers have level 4-5 expirience and no traits at all (exept a FLeader and one General?)

Why?..

MAcedonians gain some traits all the time , Is this a bug or a Script Error?

Yes, I play 4 turns per year.. I think it is a bug realy

Did you install all the fixes here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=93820)? If so, you probably installed the "Trait file nerf", which is used to get past CTDs created by triggers. If so, you should replace your current export_descr_character_traits.txt with the original. If that's not the case, I'm clueless.

You have installed the temporary fix, as Thaatu says.

The trait nerf cancels just about everything with traiting, so if the CTD appears to be hidden in a trait that's what you can use to get past the CTD. And then you gotta be quick to change it back, else you miss a whole lot of character devolpment.

I was realy mistakend to install it right after I installed EB..

Dude, you need to read instructions more precisely. Anyway, you can extract the file in question using 7-zip.

Hey bovi!

Can you help me bu commenting me that ALex.exe is better for AI then BI.exe
I have them working all so I would like to play with Alex.exe....

But can you shortly type how? do I do that and is Alex.exe better than BI.exe (I think Alex is 1.9 patch - that is more than 1.6 p)?
