Just to open the season, here where I am based with my school, 30 mins ago it started snowing. :beam:

Christmas is by far my favourite time of the season, so that's why I am an early do-goer.

Snow, we had that here before.

I like it but it seems to come in smaller numbers every next winter.

I'd be very happy if we got some snow this winter, snow that stays and is thicker than 2cm.

Your an intresting charecter edyzmedieval, I'm curious are you christian or are you just someone who enjoys the spirit of the season?

Disclaimer: this isnt meant to take the thread down the road of his religion, or anyones religion, it is meant in the spirit of the frontroom as I have had interaction with this poster on another thread regarding depression, I am curious as to his mindset in context to this post.

Thanks edyz, and same to you! It is a little early for me to start getting into the Christmas spirit, but you've given me a little kick-start. Thank you. I too like the magic of Christmas time despite all the commercialism and bah-humbugism out there  (this comment should not be construed as being directed at Odin - he slipped his post in after I wrote this).

It is snowing as I speak, er, write. I think this global warming must be a good thing as it means less of this white, way too cold thing that usually cause greate annoyance both when it melts and makes you catch a cold due wet feet, then only to freeze over again and create great queues in the waiting rooms at the doctor. :clown:

Both. I am Christian and I enjoy very much Christmas.

Darn it. It only snowed for like 30-40 mins and then it stopped. I think we will have more this weekend. Hopefully...

What is this strange phenomenon you folks describe where white stuff falls from the sky? Surely you jest.

Indeed, I have never seen white stuff falling from the sky.

Hopefully a nuclear test weapon didn't explode on a South Pacific island near you b/c that is called fallout not snowfall.
I enjoy Christmas whenever I eat a swiss chocolate ice cream cone with marshmallows mixed in it. Or a good pint of eggnog ice cream is good too.

With the arsenal a few miles away in Pearl Harbor I'm sure we'd more likely the giver than reciever of nuclear fallout, also the missile defense system is tested on Kauai, went 2/2 last week.

Also we're N. Pacific, no nuclear testing here.:beam:

While I love the festive spirit as much as the next man, I think this thread will have a bit more impact if we save it for a few weeks. Rather like the Christmas fruit cake on top of my cupboard that I'm feeding with brandy every few days. Mmmmmmm....
