For the first time in weeks I finally got back online for some battles and had a GREAT time!
Many thanks to Blackship, Obake, Elmarkofear, Emporor and others for a great time last night.
Best thing is, I won 5 of 5!!! Including a 3x3 on Nagashima as the attacker!!! My allies were brilliant as we swept around to the left and swept the hill liberating the temple.
In another fun game, 4x4 on Yamato, I had the unique pleasure of defending behind the lines as one of our opponents sent a force composed entirely of different types of cavalry behind our rear. While my allies held and won the front line, I took on the cavalry. Mind you, I had no cavalry of my own. They were charging hard around the rear and I had to sent men on several angles to intercept so they couldn't break through anywhere. End result - I had 34 casualties and they had 250 PLUS I routed them all!!! The dogs ate well last night!!! My translator now informs me that Yamato is Japanese for "Watch the Horsies Run!!"
So thanks to all, and to those who haven't played online, I hope this whets your appetite. There is nothing like it!!
