I need to know what role Bulgaria plays in it. Is it availbale to play with, what kind of population, resources, etc it has. Thanks in advance for any help

Bulgaria is a part of our moste glorius Byzantine empire.
And the bulgarians have their own special unit.."bulgarian brigands" archers/fighters.

well , Bulgarians have a big role in the Balkans during the Asan dinasty and with other kings that i cant remember right now;
but saying that they have a bigger role than the Byzantine Empire i think is totally wrong;when the byzantines were a big empire the bulgarians were just some nomade tribes ;the civilization level of the byzantines could not compare with the bulgarians level at that time http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif

BassStrings, yes, the Bulgarians played a big role in weakening the Byzantine Empire so that the Turks could someday take over the entire Balkans. Don't think we've forgotten. So, thank you for that.

ok, the bulgarians play a mediocre size role in the downfall of christianity in the south east. Go them!... wait, no, wait I HATE THEM..... brigands seems like a good name for their unit.
