So, I've triggered the Saka reforms, which is exciting. But, um, er, is it possible to actually build Saka Late Cataphracts, or do you only get them when you get new generals? Is it possible to upgrade my existing generals?

I've had a peek at the stats, and I'm looking forward to using them - although I'm a little bit disappointed that they won't be able to go toe-to-toe with the Baktrian and Pahlavan late cataphracts when those fellas finally arrive on the scene. I mean, it's not like those guys even have an empire...

Still and all, it's 268 BCE and at some point in the near future I'll have some pretty heavy cavalry to run down Roman soldiers with. These are exciting times indeed.

Unfortunately late bodyguards are connected to Marian reforms. RTW hardwired limitation. No way around this, I 'm afraid.

Ah, thanks for letting me know, Keravnos. I'm happy to hold onto my early generals for the time being. On reflection, it would have been a little realism-breaking to have late era cataphracts in 268 BCE.

That said, I might refrain from sacking Italian cities.
