I know it's mentioned somewhere, but for I can't seem to track it down. What are the effects of a single chevron of experience, a single level of weapon upgrade and a single level of armour upgrade?

Thanks,

Hey, Squid.

One chevron -> +1 attack, +1 defence
One weapon upgrade -> +1 attack
One armor upgrade -> +1 defence

I thought that each chevron had also effect on moral.
Are you sure of that?

Yeah, there's also a moral bonus, thanks Monkwarrior, I forgot. Dunno how much is it.

1 chevron = +1 Morale, +1 Attack, +1 Defense - Skill
1 sword = +1 Attack
1 shield = +1 Defense - Armour

One more remark about this question (perhaps it is well know, but we discovered it very recently :embarassed: ).

You can change the armour and weapon upgrade cost in export_descr_unit. Thus, you can put as expensive as you want this upgrade. But the experience upgrade cost is hard-coded (or if it is coded in one file, I cannot find it :dizzy2: ). That means that perhaps in such case, the experience upgrade (+1 in moral, attack and defense) can be cheaper than upgrades in weapon and armour together.

To prevent strange effects in custom battles, or even more in multiplayer, I eliminated the possibility of upgrade weapon or armour alone in both cases.
