therefor we need a patch asap. not within a month not 2 weeks, within a week.
so many people complaining about being hosting/joining so many games and just a few will work. hours are spent on restarts and relogging.
somehow it seems it comes in waves. a few hours u have solid battles and then a few hours u need 10 tries for 1-2 games.
release the patch, and for a game with so many copies sold we should get several patches but solve the most annoying bugs now.
on teh double....

It is a bit disappointing http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif
Observations from my 13 year old daughter:
Why are you making your computer look like that? (So I can keep MTW from crashing when I play).
Well, didn't you spend extra so you could get the better Video thingy? (Yes, but it won't work in single-player).
Why do you keep re-booting all the time? (Well, every time I get dropped from a game I need to re-boot so I can see/join games...if I don't, then the next time I join a game I'll crash-n-burn again).
Is that why you're always swearing when you play? (Yes, dear...please close your ears).
Are they going to fix it?(....)

i totally agree. MTW had the potential to be the greatest online game ever i reckon.. but the bugs are crippling this hope forever. It took me an hour to stop crashing on hosting/joining today. I love this game more than my family so stick with it whatevr the cost.. but how many neebies would spend an hour trying to get a game without crashing. Not many! Lol.. and 1st game after that hour someone dropped to... and that was the easy part of the night http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif ... it got worse from there
needs fixng quick sharp, but i know u CA guys must be working ur butts off so keep at it http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif. We can still make mtw one of the top online games (we as in CA and community http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif ) ok il stop now

I agree: come on man, this is a bit shameless. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif There has been a lot of hype around gameplay and the campaign and indeed it's damn good. Well done lads. And the units are overall balanced, leaving out most mounted Knights.
But multiplayer? The foyer is the most bugged system I ever played really. Why there wasn't testing on it as there was on the campaign? Is this game really aimed at only single-player? Thanks God we have Gil, Longjohn, Target and others or otherwise MP would prolly remain buggy.
That's the main flaw of the game right now...I agree to release a patch to fix those in few days and work on unit balancing and other issues later.
Multiplayer could really go much more than 100 with these bugs solved. Thanks! http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

I've been having a lot of fun playing single player so I haven't gone on line much. Looks like I'll continue to wait for the patch.
See you guys then!

perhaps a smart decision...
Guess Im the only guy who hasnt had any MP crashes. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/tongue.gif
But really, the MP forum interface really needs some work and Im really sick of people hosting games with 99999 florins.
