This is true to an extent, I loved rtw when I played it for the first time 1 year ago. Lasted 3 days then I found eb. And now I can't play it any more...

man.. thats EASY to solve... Really :yes:

take him to your house and let him play EB for a couple of hours with like KH, or Aedui, or Backtria. One of the "Cool & Unique" factions of EB. As he plays tell to read the unit descriptions so he sees EB is THE REAL DEAL!

Then leave him for about 1-2hours. After that he will be begging his mom for $$ to get RTW... and even a new PC to run the thing the HIGHEST settings :yes:

I would recomend Carthage, it is much the best faction to get started with. Or maybe the Ptolomaioi, but they don't have such a cool rooster.

I recently picked up a new RTW DVD for £5, at that price you'd have to be nuts to forsake the EB goodness, just for the pedantic excuse that you don't like RTW.

Heh, I found out about R:TW a couple of years ago, a friend of mine was playing it, I thought it was awesome because of the realism (!)

Year or two later, I finally bought it myself, and played it a lot. Then I found out about R:TR, which I thought to be teh b0mbz.

Couple of months later, I ran across the social life killer known as EB, and I've been addicted since.
