I know you all have heard this alot but I just wanted to say thank you to you all for all of you're hard work and dedication. after playing EB it made RTW and even RTR almost seem boring because EB is such an excellent mod. I know you all have worked hard and thanks again guys.

For what it is worth, I think rtr is probaly a very good mod, it just aims at a different player base than EB does. Preseumably (I have never played it, as I very strongly belong to the ultra-realsim group) it does this very well, otherwise it could hardly be so poplar.

Conclusion, RTR and EB can and should be able to co-exist peacefuly, however, judging by past experinces, conact/comparisons should be kept to a minimum, which is a shame, really, but seems to be the best way to keep the peace.

The biggest difference of course is that RTR was last updated years(?) ago. There was a time when RTR was ahead of EB, and the two could be compared, but now with the awesomely insane plans that RTR team has, they are two different games, two different ideas and two different directions, although the goal is the same. Oh man... It was great to recreat Alexander's empire in RTR. The memories...
