Howdy.

I've recently returned to playing RTW and this time around I'm using EB, and I'm having a blast conquering the world in the name of the Senate and people of Rome. Many thanks to all the people who have made this thoroughly enjoyable mod, certainly the most detailed one I’ve played thus far.

While I've had the odd temporary CTD from time to time, I recently ran into a CTD wall I can't get past, despite numerous attempts and after using all the fixes available here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=93820). I've also tried uninstalling the game (and EB) and reinstalling, but it doesn't seem to change anything.

The problem in question occurs shortly after a short while after uploading my 231 BC savegame (http://www.axifile.com/?8217082) the game crashes without warning, seemingly as soon as I click on a single unit within an army. However further investigation revealed that even if I do nothing at all it still crashes a (rather short) time later. This happens regardless if I activate the script or not.

I've tried returning to the autosave (http://www.axifile.com/?1671142) but the exact same problem can be found there (the vanilla campaign in RTW doesn’t seem to be affected by this issue, however).

Since I have no idea of how to resolve this matter I would greatly appreciate any advice that any of you can offer to help salvage my campaign.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I'm of course using the 1.0 version of EB, and that no cities are about to rebel.

Thank you for your report :2thumbsup:. It could take a while before we can take a look at your game, you should either start a new campaign or revert to an older save in the meantime.

Thank you in advance. I'll go dig up an older save and see if it works.

Oh, I guess I might as well mention that I'm using the Gold Edition game. Not sure if that makes a difference or not, but there you go.
