Giving money to other factions (SP)

Just a thought, please tell me if you would like it as much as I do:

Could an expansion (dont think itis possible with a patch) please come with the ability to give money to some AI-faction ?

I like to sit back and watch others do the dirty work for me, for axample:

I am England, preparing for war against HRE, and Italy is fighting already, but is getting crushed. Now I would like to give some money (I have plenty) to Italy, so they hold longer against HRE, until my elite troops arrive at the frontier back from Spain.

Legitimate strategy ?

Who else would like to see the possibility to give away money to an ally (maybe as a emmy-mission to allied kings, instead of "you are already allied" ...) ?

It sounds good in theory, but it depends a little on how AI economics works. Does the AI usually hoard money? If it does then donating money to the AI is fairly pointless as they would just keep the money and spend at the usual rate. Or does the AI even need money at all? I think on expert the AI can spend even when in debt (it certainly could in STW), so again donations might not really be necessary.

It would be nice if you had more options to provide assistance to your allies though.
