about indo-hellenic units

Hello,

in my Baktrian campaign, I saw in the unit information screen of the "Hoplitai Indohellinkoi" (Indo-Hellenic Medium Infantry) that they should be used as support to the "Pezhetairoi Indoi" and the "Hoplitai Indoi Beltistoi" (hope to have written the names correctly).

My question to the team (or anyone else having info about this) is: "Where are those two units?" Neither ingame nor in the Recruitement Viewer I've found those units. Coming up in EB 1.1? Or in EB2? Or not at all? Though the later would be a pity.

and the Hoplitai Indoi Beltistoi have came in this last version

Well, I did some research in the respective txt file and also downloaded the Recruitement Viewer once more (in case I had an obsolete version).

There are

- "Indohellenikoi Eugeneis Hoplitai" (IH Noble Hoplites),
- "Baktrion Agema" (B Royal Guard) units.

As my old Greek is nonexistent, I'd only guess that one of these could be what the unit card refers to "Hoplitai Indoi Baltistoi".

And for the "Pezhetairoi Indoi", well, I know that "Pezhetairoi" refers to some unit being phalanxes and the only IH phalanx unit I've seen is the Hoplitai Indohellenikoi" (Indo-Hellenic Medium infantry).

Well, I've pondered a bit about the missing "Pezhetairoi Indoi" and had the idea of "simulating" them by giving some (or all) of the five Indian provinces the A.o.R. of the "normal" Pezhetairoi.

Hence I ask those of you with a deeper insight to that region if
- this idea is accurate, and
- what provinces I should choose.

P.S. ... and I thought to remove the Baktrian Region Pezhetairoi A.o.R. too. T'would make more sense IMHO to let Baktria exclusiv(e/i)ly recruit Pezhetairoi in India. ADD: ... but are just my ideas for "simulating" the P.I.

BTW: My idea of removing the Pezhetairio from/of the Baktrian A.o.R. has othing to do with criticism/accururancy/et. al., but simply that I do need them there.

Even if I'm spamming my own thread, I've found an elegant solution without messing anything by modding something that does not want to be modded by myself/me.

Recruiting Pezhetairoi in Baktra, moving them to Kophen, and declaring: "These are the missing Pezhetairoi Indoi".

Or just pretend that the Indians got their training in Baktria. Maybe even recruit some pure Indian troops, disband them in Baktria and then recruit them as Pezhetairoi.
