I don't realy like the new skins for legiones evocatae and imperatoriae. I would like to get the previous ones. How can I do??
You don't like them? I think those in particular are some of the best looking units in the game, not to mention they are accurate as can be.
However, i think with all the billions of lines of script in EB changing them back to the old RTW skins would require rather a lot of work...

It would only require minimal changes in the desc_model_battle file in the data folder. Once you figure out what the names of the old model and texture are, you can simply change where the desc_model_battle file looks to load the model and texture.
But I don't know what the models, textures, or anything are actually called. I can only help you with the process.

I disagree, but it is a matter of personal preference.

its a matter of "head-VS-shoulder-to-shoulder" proportions....
There was a discussion about the Roman skins when 1.0 came out. Someone else had basically the same complaint that is listed here, only he had the courtesy to say that he liked how the skins looked but that he thought they were out of proportion with regards to the rest of the game's models, and was asking how to change them. He didn't come out and say bluntly 'I don't like the models'.
But anywho, I do have to side with the civilized gripers in that the Roman skins are slightly out of proportion. However, the EB team have already said that they were working to fix that, so...yeah.
As for how to change the model skins, 'fraid I can't help ya. I have little to now idea how to fix tek-ner-lohr-jee-kal stuff.

Five mins in the scriptorium and it will all be obvious.

The models have already been fixed, the corrections will be in 1.1.

And.. what about the models of Hetairoi.. the horsmen... Companions of Macedonian and hellenic generals.. if you look at the model closely... you can see that the part of the model where ankle and hand are attached is not right. Because the hand under the ankle is more oval and looks like a canon (I hate my english - I will know Francais better soon:shame: )... It is very clear to see it when they are steady... holding the spear... then you move the camera and see that the model is not consistent all in diferent angles... just mind the anckle realy.:!:beam:

I think you mean wrist, it's not really fixable, or noticeable, unless you're peering at the units all the time.

I assume it is a bug caused by the use of the 2 handed xyston animations, which the ebgine isn't really desinged to handle?
It does fold the wrists into impossible angles, but it really isn't noticeable.

Does anybody know if your EB 1.0 progress can carry over to EB 1.1? EB 1.1 release date?

If it fixes the skins/models, I very much doubt it can be.
I hope 1.1 will be save game compatible... :/
It won't.
