Aparrently you dont need richard and saladin to have a crusade, they have existed alot lot longer than that!i have found that a faction will be more disagreeing to an diplomatic ceasefire if it worshipes a different religion, even a diffent form of crisianity!my arian visigoths just beat a war with the odin worshiping alemanni in germania! And i here the zorcrostian sassinds are trying to invade the orthodox romans in jerusalem, even though one day my arian crusade against all pagans and catholics will be victorios!

Err, what?

There are no Crusades in BI.

Are you sure you aint confusing them with Hordes.

Unless you just thought itd be really cool to send a massive army over sea to capture one city.

Its okay, i do that to.

Ya know, the reason war happened was only partly religion. The Sassanids were opposed to the Eastern Roman Empire since the Roman Empire declared war on them; because Persia (the land of the Sassanids) was viewed as rich, and thus of economic importance.
Odin is a pagan God, and unafilliated with Christianity. If you started a war with the Alemanni, then no wonder they'd refuse a ceasefire.
What did you mean by Richard and Saladin? You don't need them in any case; a Casus Bellum (reason for war) was enough, and a good Casus Bellum for crusades was the Holy Land.

PS: don't view this as too much criticism, I've just had a hard day. Also, and this is criticism, sorry; could you try to improve your spelling a bit?

religion does play a role in BI, but not as much as Med1 and Med2.
