I was wondering if ,as a native faction, there was any way to go and fight Spain on its homeground of Cuba...

I haven't seen any possibility of shipbuilding for natives and as it is impossible to bribe fleets...

Could I gain a shipbuilding capacity in capturing a spanish city with a port ? (I don't think it possible but would like to be proven wrong...)

Or am I stuck with Spain sending stack after stack without the ability to give them some of their own medecine ? That would :furious3: big time...

Btw, the Spanish stacks, do they just spawn or are there fleets bringing them to the mainland ? (Not that there is anything I could do without ships :wall: )

I know the Spanish uses some fleet as I have seen some rotting about the coast of New Spain costing an awful lot of upkeep for nothing if as I think the natives have no shipbuilding capacity...

Spanish stacks are scripted. They spawn at predetermined places like Yucatan and Florida. There is no way to get to Cuba except trading it.

Thanks...

It is what I feared... So as long as Cuba remains Spanish, stacks will continue to spawn or not ?

And if I eradicate Spain from the map, will some stack continue to spawn ?

As long as Cuba is the capital i don't think you will be able to eradicate spanish so its a moot point. Cap never revolts, won't trade for it, AI gets free money, good luck. However, IIRC Spain needs 1 region in order for the Expedition Generals to spawn, France and England do not, so red and blue keep showing up no matter what.
