This concerns all members of the Offical TW forums. Well our time with Ezboard has been good. But it is my job to make sure what ever online resources we make use of, we are getting the best deal for all involved.

So with that in mind as our current Gold membership is about to expire we have chosen a new forum host.

shogun.xmbforums.com/index.php#

I am afraid we can't carry account details over to the new forums so you will all have to register. Any misconduct during this process report to me or any of the Moderators.

I know this is a bit of a pain (but these boards will still be up for a while), but I am hopeful that we will get a better service.

So time to get over to the new forum and get posting.

Curious - do the CA guys post on those forums? I never noticed them over there so I've been 100% at .org since we actually get feedback and help here from Gil, Target, and LongJohn.

I post there sometimes, and will be more active on the new official forums. But my posts are usually so deeply hidden in the depths of each thread that no-one notices them. It's a noisy forum.

Well as long as CA stays here. it's all good. I like the look of these forums much better.

The forums here could do with a little modernisation... i.e.
1. counting views (number of people who have looked at the thread)
2. who last posted
3. option to upload attachments (very useful)
4. noting which threads you've posted in

Otherwise the ones here are lovely. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

proboards is a really great forum. It's the one I use at my site. You can take a look at it here - www.skdcorps.cjb.net (http://www.skdcorps.cjb.net) - and then go to message board. It has all the features you just mentioned, plus a few more.
