Can anyone confirm this? Is this out yet?

This mod adds the new playable faction 'Mythological' to M2TW. This faction is made up of mages, monsters, the undead, and dragons. Their goal is to permanently kill the Pope, however to do this they have to defeat every Catholic Christian faction because any Catholic priest can become the new Pope. Thought they have many powerful warriors they lack agents and the ability to make large amounts money. Below is more details of the following units.

It's a good idea to be alert on this one if you want to be one of the first to play it. It's going to be a decent file size and I'm wondering how fast it will absorb TWCs bandwidth, judging from the absolutely massive amounts of hits their forum is getting. The screenshot thread ALONE is worth like 85,000 hits. EDIT well I just checked again, it's now 95,000 hits.

The forum for that mod is far more active in hits than all of the org subforums combined. This is a big achievement for a mod, to out-traffic a whole dedicated TW forum (lol?). Usually new posts there as well. For history buffs there's a wealth of historical info in the faction threads, no pulling units out of thin air either. Almost all of them have extremely well researched and sound basis, though there is too much reliance on Osprey for certain factions, for my liking.

I'm also pretty impressed by the fact that some of those threads have incredible viewership e.g The East Roman Empire (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=88822) has 80,000 hits just by itself. We love the Byzantines ! More flamethrowers PLEASEEE!. OUCH!!! That's more hits than each of the individual guides in the M2:TW guides section here, if I'm not mistaken. And people were saying nobody is interested in Eastern factions, at least that's obviously the mistaken logic CA used when doing some of the rosters. Prompting at long, long last a mod that would do the East justice.

Hats off to the BC team, if this mod is any good, it will be an awesome accomplishment.

In this shot you can see how difference in weapons reach actually makes a difference now. You'll see a lot less peasants poking around with kitchen knives at pikemen.

I reckon getting people to torrent the mod download is the best bet - starting with maybe the BC team themselves?

I usually don't play many mods, I did play some Total Realism for M1 and Rome .... I might have to make this my first for M2 - mostly due to the enthusiasm I have seen about it from Sinan :beam:
