Hi:help: ,

I'm an EB newbie. I'm currently playing the Qarthadastei faction and i just want to get some questions i have answered in regards to governing settlements.

I have taken syrakousai and it's been made a client state, which i later figured out means you shouldn't place kone of your family members there as governor. Thus it has no governor and is my only settlement with less that 100% public order.

I took siga recently and it had the same government allocated, but next turn i noticed a new charater popped up in the settlement-a client ruler/governor. This did not happen at syrakousai....is there a reason for that? Should i perhaps dissolve the client government and build a new one?

I've also seen a trait called "uncomfortable supervisor", which i understand to mean they don't like being far from the capital. So i've been moving these characters to govern cities closer to kart-hadast- am i right in doing that?

thanks for any help

A client ruler should have spawned in Syrakousai. Maybe you had the script off during the time or something.

"Uncomfortable Supervisor" means that the general doesn't like the possition you gave him. Most likely he wants to be moved to a larger town, where he feels his administration skills would be better used.

argh darn it...all well.

thanks for the reply.

I know this is more a technical issue, but i'm having game crashes whenever i assault arse' at the load screen. Is there way to unbug the sedttlement or i just have to rely on auto-resolve to take it >.<

Unbug? :inquisitive: I attacked and took Arsé without trouble and I guess so did many others. The problem must be on your end mate.

Welcome to the ORG! :ave:

If Arse has upgraded to the Greek version, it will crash when you attack it. Check the "Fixes for v1.0" stickied thread in the bugreport subforum for the fix to that.

thanks for the prompt help everyone, arse' just handed my ass to me when i assaulted it >.<

i might have to bait them out rather than scale the walls methinks, those iberian spearmen were tougher than i thought...
