Most of them are politicians, Rep Murtha (http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/07333/837824-100.stm?cmpid=latest.xml) is one of them.
Notice that every good thing he says has a caveat. This may be a little "inside baseball" but it makes me happy. I'm having an ET flashback.
What's your problem with this? Sounds like the surge is a succes, must hurt for a democrate to admit.

My problem is with people like Durbin, Murtha, Reid, et al who have already declared defeat and labeled our troops criminals and rapists. Now all of a sudden it's "Hey, we may win this thing." I bet you they'll try to take some of the credit.

Look at the bright side, the debate-tigers will want to have a go at him when he is back in the comfortable bliss that is home. How could he say such a thing without asking someone with a pipe how it really is?

I don't have a problem with people who call a spade a spade. I have a problem with people who call Iraq a failure even when things take up-swings.

Murtha still hasn't apologized to the soldiers he labeled personally rapists and criminals, but were acquitted of any crime.
