Hello

As a new user to this forum and also a new gamer to Medival 2: Total War i would like to ask a question about an observation I made looking at all the fine screenshots. I play the english campaign and i've used over 150 turns.
I found one image that cought my eye, the screenshot was when a battle was fought, and I saw units(groups, platoons or what you call it) with 80 horses pr. platoon and close too 200 men on one platoon(fx. Dismounted Feudal Knights)

My question is, I have'nt got platoon sizes that big  I only have horse platoons on 40 horses or men on 60 men pr platoon. Is that some custom setting you guys are giving a system-file or something? Or is it an ingame event on a certain turn that this comes available?

I got a very nice PC that can handle it so it could be so cool to get some help. Thank you very much on advance :beam:

You have to change the unit size before you start a campaign. It's in the options menu, possibly graphics or whatever. Its been a while I dont recall.

graphics options click show advanced settings change unit size
or if you want to start making huge units in your current campaign change all the units in the files

be aware though that it really hinders the performance if your computer cant handle uch unit sizes well in which case keep it as it is or even make the units size small (i play on small cos my computers rubbish)

Cavalry size at huge was 80 but it was nerfed to 60 with Kingdoms.
Also biggest unit size is 150 men at huge.
