Awesome!

However...

Colder than a gravedigger's butt, I reckon.

Some stunning photos (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cornwall/7122844.stm) from just up the way from you.

And more (http://www.globalsurfnews.com/news.asp?Id_news=31704). Apparently its the biggest swell ever recorded in the British Isles.

I must be getting old , it nearly killed me and I didn't even get out to it either day , a few tried off the cliffs (with predictable results but nothing too serious) .
Waiting to hear from the crowd from over the water that tried Croyde and Bournemouth (no one seemed to be heading further west or south) , but the Kiters are back from Hayling and say it was awesome there .

Them Cribber specialists have the backup to get them out there , apparently there was about 40 fellas trying to get out from Newquay harbour to Fistral the old fashioned way but none managed it .

Hats off to the fellas out there.

We've got a virtual dead ca'm (http://www.surfshot.com/) over here, despite a Baja storm passing through. I guess all the action is off your coast this year.

Hats off to the fellas out there.

Hats off to the kids who stayed on the beach yesterday in horizontal hailstones till I came back .
Blame the wife of course , imagining having her sisters come over for a drink and the theatre in Dublin without checking the forecast in the west first:furious3:
