Does 1.3 effect my 1.2 mods?

I was just wondering because I have alot of mods installed on my computer for 1.2 but I also want to install kingdoms which automatically updates 1.2 to 1.3.

1.3 changes pretty much nothing in the vanilla M2TW so there will be no problem.
