Hi!
I have the gold edition of rtw, do I have to install all Patches to make it 1.5?
I allso wondering about Europa barbarioum mod, does it work together with gold edition? or 1.5.

Which game is better rtw with EB-mod installed or Rome Barbarian invasion?:inquisitive:

Thanks

I think the Gold edition is already patched to 1.5; to make sure, load the game, go into Options and there should be in a corner of the screen the version number. If it's 1.5, then no problem, you've got the latest version.

The EB mod works only with 1.5, and I think EB is better than BI. BUT that's because EB is more difficult than BI. You should play a couple of "vanilla" (without a mod) games to get used to RTW, and then try EB.

Welcome to the .Org RomaJilo!

Warmaster Horus pretty much said it all. Since EB is free though, you can quite easily try it out over your R:TW installation, and compare it with BI. If you don't like it, you can still play the origional game if you so wish through your origional R:TW shortcut (EB uses its own shortcut). In addition it has an easy un-installation program to remove it from your PC entirely if needs be.

Thank u both 4 answering my questions..in the gold edition i bought u have rtw and bi in the same box. Maybe I try out the eb first since it comes before the barbarian invasions historicly....think so at least:embarassed:

Try RTW first, BI after, then EB. EB is much, much, much harder than both. Of course, it depends what faction you chose...

In any case, good luck, good game!

Europa Barbarorum. Wiki it, or go on the forums here.
In one sentence: the best game ever.

Wow, looks great. Since BI uses version 1.6, I'll be able to play it.
