I have never recorded sound before. Do I need a program to do it? :help:

Yes, you need an application that records sound.
I use Super MP3 Recorder to record stuff that is playing on my computer.
It records both in the mp3 format and in wav format.

I bet there are many other applications out there.

.
If you have a full-duplex sound card (any Sound Blaster, for example) you can run any recorder alongside your player. Select the source as your wave device.

Audacity. Can also be used for other activities such as recording from youtube or when you have stupid drm protected music that won't play on any other computer or mp3 player.

Thanks all. I'm trying to make an e-card. Hopefully I'll be able to include sound to my shockwave flash file.
