Script errors

I reinstalled my EB game again. Played for a while to make sure everything was up to scratch, then thought I would install all the fixes from "1.0 fixes you should try before posting".

I started to play my Pahlava game again and things weren't the same. I couldn't recruit any units.

I thought maybe the fixes weren't save game compatable, so I started a new game. Or at least I tried to. I was unable to start a new game!

The same thing that happened to me last time!!

When I quit out of EB there was an error message reading:-

"Script error in eb/data/world/maps/base/descr_regions.txt, at line 23, column 67.

Unreognised: "city" as a region resource class (or hidden resource)."

Is this a result of the fixes I installed?

That sounds weird, that file is not changed in the fixes I believe. Are you sure you haven't been remodding EB? You could try to extract the file from the installer.

I have learned my lesson about messing with things I don't understand. I had only recently re-installed EB after changing things.

Like I say, I played it for a while unchanged to make sure that it had been re-installed correctly. Then I added MAAs city mod and the force diplomacy like I usually do. Because I was playing as Pahlava I added the Pahlava fix and the client ruler fix following all instructions to the letter.

When I restarted my Pahlava game thats when I noticed that I had no units to recruit anywhere.

I have uninstalled EB now and reinstalled it again. This has solved the problems so far. I have added MAAs city mod again. Now I'm scared to add any other mods now for fear of it happening again.

Ah! I was wondering how long it would be before this came up.

Your issue is that the the City Mod is not compatible with the Pahlav fix.

That's ok then! I think I prefer the City Mod to the Pahlava fix!

EDIT: Are there any other fixes that aren't compatible with the City Mod? I really don't want to have to uninstall it all for the third time.

About a week ago I went through and checked and the Pahlav fix is the only one that isn't compatible.
