Movember and raising money

Well with the end of "MO"vember here I have finally said goodbye to the handlebar mo that had adorned my face for the past month and made me look more and more like my avatar picture that I have on this forum.

I only managed to raise about $20 for prostate cancer awareness and whilst I know that movember is is Aussie is it spreading to any other parts of the world?

We had an artical in the loacl papaer here wheb Sigourney Weaver was over she liked Wellington but could not figure out why so many men had moustaches. So she had never heard of it.

So the story is - get sponcered to "grow a mo" and the money goes to prostate cancer research and also raises awareness.
We also have Daffodil day where you buy a daffodil for cancer research and awareness.

What types of fundraisers do other countries have?

Wow I should have done that. If nothing else I would have had a good excuse to let my beard grow out for a whole month for the first time. And raising awareness and money for the fight against cancer is always good.
