my crusade just diappears?

im playing france and my crusade is heading for marroco. while its in the capital of spain, the english take morroco and my crusade is disbanded. thousands of men simply disappear, and the spanish fucker even dare to ask a ransom for my king!!! WHAT IS THIS? http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif

Well you can't exactly send a Crusade against another Catholic faction that has yet to be Excommunicated. So your Crusade was forced to disband.

But that part about the king was nasty.

You troops had no where to go, no money, so they turned into mercs, they are going round europe looking for job. Cheak your inns to see your crusaders.

Computer crusades dont' get disbanded when I a good catholic faction take a crusade province. Instead they force me to give it up or fight.

Just ain't fair.

Ah, in that case it must be a glory goal of theirs, they are allow to carry on for their goals. Also, if a crusade comes along and ask you to hand over a region which is your crusade glory goal then you are allow to say no and not get excommunicated.
