Look in descr_sm_factions you will see it has RGB colour references for a primary and secondary colour for each faction, make the secondary colour the same as the primary colour and you won't see the borders. :beam:

That's odd, I can't find the file anywhere in the data file... I'm trying to edit M:TW2's data file by the way.

First of all you posted in the wrong forum, this is for rtw not m2tw. Second you need to unpack the m2tw files first.

I'll move this to M2TW modding, good luck and a belated welcome to the forums

Anybody know how to do this? I unpacked, and edited the file accordingly, but it didn't work. Furthermore, the game crashed on entering battles, so I had to reinstall :( Its really annoying as the HRE, with those big horrible yellow lines all over the Empire, particularly where theres alot of provinces clustered close together

Didn't you already have a thread for this?

@Plusi: Did you use the io-filefirst/mod folder when you made the changes?

Also check your error log, no idea why boders would affect battles...

did you see the instructions about deleting the two geography files after you unpack the game?

If you didn't delete them that will be cause of crash.
