when i looked in the recruitment viewer, i was shocked to see that there werent many places in the east that could recruit the Thorakitai, the most basic hellenic infantry unit that isnt a phalanx unit. i think there should be more places to recruit them, so how can i make them available in more places?

"Basic" ? The Thorakitai are semi-elites. Aren't you confusing them with their lighter cousins the Thureophoroi here ?

ya- i may be......
Thorakitai AOR is one of bigest 4level unit AOR. And they are not basic.
In my Baktria campaign I had only one level 4 MIC (in Baktria). Pezhetairoi and Thorakitai it was producing was enough to get as far as to Seleukia, where I constructed my second and last level 4 MIC

Thorakitai is semi-elite units!
If there is more place to recruit Thorakitai, the game play will be unbalanced:inquisitive:
ya- i may be......
In this case you might take a second look: the Thureophori are very widespread available.

Thorakitai are assualt infantry, and as such, are better trained soldiers than Phalangitai troops whom compose the bulk of the Diadochoi forces. Phalangites either defend a position or hold the enemy in place, while the cavalry chase down skirmishers and, at the right moment, wheel behind the enemy to disperse and slaughter, while the Thorakitai and Pheraspidai (Junior Royal Guard) and Hypastistai punch holes through the enemy's ranks. Personally, I'm thankful that the Thorakitai are fairly abundant in terms of recruitment.
