Gotta say I love this feature. It was new in Warlord Edition, wasn't it? Perhaps I just never noticed it. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

Anyway, a request for the next Total War: allow me to set the thresholds for Red/Yellow/Green.

It'd be sweet to set the green to 121% to avoid the "reemerging faction" stuff, and I can scan a shifted map at 1600x1200 much faster than I can scroll through my enormous economics list of captured territories looking for numbers in the loyalty column

Just a thought.

I'd like to see the shift key also show the sea trade routes.

yup. good idea.

and expanding on that idea, it would make sense to also do the same for agents. you could have one that showed provinces where you had any type of agent, or do it individually by agent type.

you could also do another for military, though that's not as hard to find.

and, you could do it for income ranges.

and for religious affiliation or percentages thereof.

one other thing missing, not related, is that princesses dont show any coming of age message. i often am looking around the map and will suddenly see a princess that's shown up, come of age, but i get no message for this. she just shows up silently.

agents on missions could also be visually tracked, showing both origination point and destination point and maybe even the path. this might be difficult is the mission destination is a person and that person is moving around, but shld still be do-able.

let's see, how many more cpu cycles can i add to this thing.... how about showing enemy jihad's and crusades, particularly those coming after you, as blinking.

and, something to allow one to find kings a bit easier, both your own and the ai kings. obviously if the fog of war is present you wouldnt be able to find them, but it's often tedious scrolling around clicking on every unit to find the various kings, including one's own. didnt there used to be a little herald or something in stw/we/mi on top of the king army icon? and is it still used and i just havent been looking?

I'd like to be able to move to a certain area of the map by hotkey command. Many games have this ability in which you can set a snap shot of a certain area of the trategy map and will be a ble to jump to that area by pressing a hotkey. This option is very useful when moving units.

I use the economy page to view the loyalty level of each province. Just open the list then use the scroll wheel to go up and down the list. When I need to goto a certain province, I just click on the name and I will see the province centered on the screen. However, more could be done such as the ability to jump to the end (or re turn to the top) of the list then scroll up in stead of scrolling all the way from the top to lacate a province at the very bottom of the list.

Yes, I'd like a little coming of age notice for princess too. If you notice, the princess shows up on the map when she is 15 but her name on the heir list is still greyed out and you can not select/locate her using the list, but you still be able to move her if you find her icon on the map (the province where the King stayed in the last turn).

This bring to the next topic. As now, prince and princess will appear on the map at the province where the king stayed in the last turn. However, I want to be able to set a capitol province where prince/princess/new king will appear. Once, I attacked a province and the defender retreated into the castle. Then I moved the king and his army back so the defender can sally forth and recapture the province so I can attack it again (training my King and trying to have the defending general to get the "Retreat Often" vice). Next turn, I was supprised to begin with a battle in which my force was 20 (1 royal knight) and enemy was more than 300. I had to abandon the province. What happened was the 16 years old prince is the only unit in the province from which I thought I had withdrawn all troops in the previous turn. Now, the Great Leader prince has the "Eager to retreat" vice which will never go away.

You can locate your King by click on the shield in the panel, the one that you see in between the building and training botton. I don't know if it will work on other faction or not.

btw, the King is shown on the trategy map as mounted Knight. Army that led by a crown prince (direct blood line) will have a little crown on the base of the unit icon. It a little hard to see without zooming in. However, it will be harder to locate other factions king/prince if they hide in the castle.

someone else mentioned this annoyance somewhere, but i'm also proposing a solution for it. holding the mouse over a ship or agent and then having to wait for the tooltip is annoying. how about a simple left click and it tells you immediately.

along with that, this whole thing about units and agents and ships being hard to find when behind other things. how bout making ANY unit able to be picked up the normal way, even enemy units and you could move them yourself anywhere within the sea zone or province they are currently in? we've already got something similar with the ransomed units. you pick one of those up and it cant be moved out of the province. the only difference would be that you could pick up the units and move them anywhere within the province/sea zone. this would NOT include units in a castle, however.

and, speaking of castles and moving things, when you are moving a large number of units OUT of a castle or other army, i'd prefer that the unit icon list NOT change to the army you are moving to, but rather it stays on the army you are moving from. this way you can move all the units out of an army/castle without having to constantly click back on the original army. just annoying the way it is.

Anyone who has the same problem as me ?

When I press shift, I see all my provinces in green. Then I check some provinces, and they are below 100%. If I now press shift again, they show up yellow (correct).
