View Full Version : Graphic hiccups

I recently began to encounter an annoying problem during large battles. The performance is mostly good except for one thing, every 10 or so seconds I run into what I refer to as a hiccup, where the screen freezes for about half a second or so before returning to normal. As you can guess this gets really infuriating and interrupts the gameplay quite bit. Has anyone run into this issue and if so is there a way to fix it?

I have the same problem, but I assumed it was because I only have 512 for RAM.

I have 1024 mb of DDR SDRAM, but then again I think there may be something wrong with my computer which prevents me from getting everything I should so RAM may indeed be the problem.
Use to have that with my Geforce 6600. Might be the gfx card. I also only had 1024mb ram

Is there anything specific I should do? I have an ATI Radeon Xpress 200 graphics card and a 3400+ AMD Athlon 64 processor
I get the same thing, AMD x2 5000, 7900GS, 2GB DDR2.
Its only started since EB1.0, freeze only lasts about a second or two.
Tell me guys, do you have anti-aliasing on through the games video options?

your PC is quite good for EB.....have the same except X2 3600+.....smooth....(even better when 7900GS is OC´d)
but for all with A64 X2: make sure you have the AMD X2 driver/patch installed (winxp necessary). can be found on the amd-website.
As AngryAngel says, AMD's drivers are necessary, at least when running a dual-core CPU.
