View Full Version : New fix available!
Atilius strikes again and fixes the script concerning not one, but three reforms. As Mouzaphaerre reported, the reform buildings could be spawned multiple times earlier, but now it will only place the one it's supposed to, and you will not get any CTD related to it anymore.
Get the fix here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=93820) (and the rest of them as well if you haven't got them yet). Note that it might invalidate certain unofficial mods you may have installed, if they change the script.

Any idea which unofficial mods they are?

Anything that makes changes to the script.
I can say that the City Mod is compatible with this particular fix.
Is it essential to install this file if you are behind 200BC?
As you've played without it for two months, it's hardly essential. It does increase stability though.

...and the cataphract availability in Alexandreia-Ariana, thanks to burn_again.
New fix! Get the potential fix for the remaining rebellion CTDs from the usual place.
I suggest to all who have outstanding CTD reports in the tech help forum to try this new permanent fix with their savegames. Please report whether they are solved or still crash.

Congrats! :beam:
What was the issue which you have just fixed that was causing those CTDs?
Makanyane suggested that it might be that the core building gets damaged in the revolt, and therefore there are no units available for recruitment for the rebellious force. Now I added the recruitment option for the government precursor buildings as well, which are indestructible. That is, except for natural disasters, which should be rather rare.
:help: Help!!!!! The Building fix' link doesn't work!!!!
I replied in the real thread.
New fix! Well, not so much a fix as a workaround... Through the patience of Stone and Blood and myself we have figured out that the Greek voicemod can cause problems on some systems.
If you've had a problem getting EB to run (only getting to the menu before crashing), this may be of help to you. See the Installation validation (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=93236) thread for the link to the workaround patch, which unfortunately cuts out the Greek voicemod.
