Got a bit of spare time today, so I thought I'd do a bit of testing and see if the moralle bonuses in temples really work.
Therefore, in order to intoduce a bit of control , how do I spawn a specific unit for an enemy faction in a specific location?
Thanks.

create_unit Roma "roman infantry triarii early" will create a unit of camillan Triarii in Rome, no matter who owns it.
create_unit Roma "roman infantry triarii early" 2 1 1 1 will spawn 2 triarii, with 1 exp, 1 weapon upgrade etc.
for Captains or FM do this:
create_unit "Captain XY" "roman infantry triarii early"
You'll need the correct name of the unit from the EDU, and you'll have to check if that faction can have the unit you create. If not it will get the unit, but might cause problems on the battlefield.

There has been some recent talk that the morale bonus isn't necessarily something that is retained with each discrete unit created within a settlement but applied as a per-battle bonus to the owning factions' forces defending a settlement only. If true, this means that a temple in Roma that gives a +3 morale bonus would only do so to any defending units in the city of Roma if there was an external attack.
Maybe we're talking about the same thread here - I don't remember where I saw the original post related to this.
