Yes, as far as I know EB is the best and (with RTR) the most popular RTW mod ever!
So? Are there thread's of EB in some Non-Anglo forum's - do I find this forum Cosmopolitan but still, is EB played in Asia or Latin America .. ? China and/or India... The fact is that many-many people will use low-end CPUs for a long time.. so RTW will be very popular for year's to come:shrug:
I am very interested if EB team is supporting EB threads outside of English speeking language forums/thread's?? Like some from Italy for example?

I don't know about forums, but I know EB has been mentioned in nonEnglish gaming magazines. I know there was a German one, a Portugese one, and I think another like a Romanian magazine.
Many people on the forums here are nonEnglish speakers. I've seen people from all over the world. And the team itself is from rhree or four continents.

I am very happy to know that
Ok.. what about China and India, 1/3 of world population is one great potential fan auditorium?? I also noticed that Saba is made so there is one faction 'closer' to islamic population but what about Far East?? I tend to say that Eb team 'did not want to Add' one Indian Faction ''because of some reason'' for example.. Why? One Indian faction add's surely + thousands of fan's of EB - english is somewhat popular in India:shrug:
Also, Are EB thread's supported in those countries?
I just like to know... how many pople have EB..

Contrary to popular belief we don't add factions to gain fanbases in countries that are historically linked with said faction. We do want to add an indian faction, but faction hardcodes mean that we couldn't. We would like to have many factions but we had to add ones that had the most effect on the map that we chose. To say that we didn't want to have an indian faction is unfair, illinformed and a bit rude.
Also, Are EB thread's supported in those countries?

We only have one member from india and none (that I know of) from china. It is difficult to play an active role in a foreign language forum when you don't speak the language. Where EB members are members of foreign language forums (and as far as I know this has only happened in a french forum) they do try to repost updates (though not anymore I think). Translating every release into another language takes time, and so it is not an EB policy to keep those forums uptodate. Our official forums are here and at the TWC, everywhere else are up to the good will of individual members.

I have edited my post just because someone could really think I was rude - that is not correct at all..
My point was that ''I have noticed many people from around the WORLD'' here on these forum's so I wanted to add this thread, and YES I saw that EB thread on one 'Francais' forum a week ago also I made one in Serbia that promotes EB.. It's just that I belived EB team has people around the 'map' considernig EB member's from Latin America and Japan (no?:curtain: )..
Anyways.. I am distributing EB IN my country to my friend's since I use RTW 4-5 year's now and I think EB is the best of the best, It's just that I would like to know.. why Indian faction is not in EB for example? We know that Saka faction area is fairly spreading all the way to China in EB period..
thank you for your time I did not ment to be rude my friend
I don't know the specifcs on the saka faction, but I believe it doesn't not represent the full extent of the nomad people in this timeperiod in that area, we didn't include the Yeuzhi for that reason. The Saka faction represents the western tribes of the Saka Rauka who later settled in Baktria and causes such problems for the parthian empire.

Not precisely unless you count Yuehzi as Saka which certainly isn't the case.

I could imagine that EB is popular all over the globe...
I think you should have intention's of ''spreading'' the EB after you go on EB2 even if it means to make someone to translate it and update yout post's in..
.. Brasil? or Russia? or China..? that way.. EB will live for decades:laugh4:

I'd like to add, in support to this, that the Greeks were quick to make a marked distinction between the Tocharians and the Easternly Scythians; This is something that has echoed in Indian sources as well. It is generally established that while the Saka did most certainly have pockets of influence as far as the Tarim, their borders were "soft" in the sense that beyond the lake Balkhash there were the Wusun, and the Tarim and beyond the Tocharians and their arch-enemies, the Xiongnu.
Still however the Greeks took their distinctive designation to the tribal level; A tradition which finds basis since Achaemenid times.

Well, I am an EB fan and I´m mexican. But saddly, I belive I'm the only one that plays a modified version of RTW around here. :shame:
I know only one guy that plays vanilla RTW, all the rest rather to play FIFA 2007 in their X-boxes.

i have a great idea: why not translate EB into a language spoken in more than one country? if you do it in spanish you get spain (obviously) argentina, mexico, columbia..hell most of south america! (put it in portugese and you get the whole thing!) possibilites are endless...
English is the official language of over 50 countries you know.
When you count people who speak English as a second language it is probably second only to Chinese.
Hardly a language spoken in only one country!
As a language to spread the word of EB without repetitive translations, you wouldn't find a better language.
Don't let this deter you from spreading the joy of EB yourself, but I think it's asking too much to have releases in other languages from the team.

English is the second most spoken language, followed by Spanish. A spanish translation would really be an accomplishment.
I speak spanish...

whats the most spoken language then, if english is 2nd?
Chinese is not a spoken language, only a written one. Chinese talk in all sorts of related languages. Although possibly Mandarin is spoken by more people than English.

RTW is not quite popular like counter strike, but it has his percentage of fans
:beam:
now EB unfortunally it isn't
since buying original games here is not a option for every one who likes RTW
so it requires more then just ''patch to 1.5''
and also the personal-interest and the EB dificulty, with the high upkeeps
and the large and somewhat complicate amount of information that it gives to the player
but, i'm a member of a small comunity in Orkut, which is related to EB
and it has near 80 members, so EB has a beach-head on Brazil

Saba is just an Arabian faction....it has nothing to do with Islam. EB's timeframe is more than 800 years before Islam's creation.
Saka did not spread all the way to the western edges of the Han Dynasty. Even if you're thinking of the Yuehzi, they were fairly far awy. The Han Dynasty (EB time frame) didn't spread to central Asia until the late 2nd to early 1st century BCE... By that time the Yuehzi were pretty much gone.

Can you tell me what are the most popular faction's in EB, or Why Casse is in the faction list instead of some other faction's ? Like one Indian for example or Illyrian like in RTR? I know why - because there is a strong B looby here - in a way that there are many EB and RTW fans that like playing with Casse/Briton's mostly becasue they live in the area Casse faction existed at EB time - did you watched the 'Last Legion' movie? - if you are you can look at the King Atrhurs trriger-even that led to a legend that drows it's root's from Great Britain. You can see in the 'Last Legion' movie that many many people from todays Britain could consider Casse their ancestor's - which makes Casse faction very close to national beliefs and feeling's which makes people play with Casse! - THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT! I love my country and so thr people of England should love their own - I don't like people that have no love to their country

Oh, I am no expert here, but I foun this on Wiki two week's ago,
I was sure that X-Khanate is represented through Saka??
note: I would not like anyone to take this personal:san_grin:
No, the X-Khanate has nothing to do with the Saka. Have you tried reading their history both on our website and in game.
Secondly, I think you'll find that EB is far more professional than you seem to take us for. We don't include factions just because some of our members are from the nation that now exists in the same location as an ancient tribe, city-state, or empire. There is no such thing as a british lobby.
So no, you don't know why there is a british faction, and I wish you would not spread such conjurations of your mind as if they were facts. It would be an understatement if I said that I was disappointed with this post of yours and the accusations you make about the professionalism of the EB team. If you don't think more about what you say, and if you don't stop representing lies as facts I will take steps as a moderator. In other words, you have been warned.

I know why - because there is a strong B looby here - did you watched the 'Last Legion' movie?
And I suppose this was the problem? - Read? , I DID NOT MEAN THE EB TEAM has a B lobby FOOT! I meant the forum and the fan's - You could ask that before you raise threats ! Your threatening's are not polite and they suppress free thought!
And if it is about your national pride - I can only say that I had no intention to hurt anyones feelings - by that, I am sorry - still my opinion is myown I don't force anyone to have the same - I did not say a single lie to anyone.. the ''I know why'' part is due to my opinion, not a fact - If I tred to prove that it would be a lie :san_angry: - I hate lies!
So it would be polite to keep your moderator right's to ones that break the rules and lie..
Thank you for your time
''
My objection still stands, what matter is it to us that there is a large B-lobby here if our conduct is professional. Regardless of whether the lobby is inside or outside of the EB team is no matter. If our policies our swayed by such things, as you claim they are, then we are acting unprofessionally as historians, which is a slanderous lie.
I will say again, be careful what you say.
Casse were chosen because when EB was first born it was as a taskforce to help CA develop a more rounded and historically accurate vanilla. The focus was primarily on Europe. When this changed to include much of the middle east the Casse were kept as they were an important force in an important geographic area.
And if you want to make something an opinion, you do not use the phrase "I know", you use the phrase "It is my opinion". "I know" is a reference to knowledge which is a reference to facts.

Your objections are fine - your threats are humiliation to me - they can't stand - you might have asked me what I ment before the false calims that I was lying and manipulating - I have edited my post so one can read 'between' the word's and see what I really thought.
And I must add to this - The phrase "I know", was more a 'misfortune' to be used at the first place, more to it - it is a 'misfortune' to be used every day by people. The phrase - "It is my opinion" I use more commonly and it was my bad and I am sorry.
And, by my opinion "I know" is a reference to knowledge which is a reference to your own 'knowledge' - that is -
We use 'I know' reference many times every day and in 75-90% of cases We really don't know what we are saying if compared with fact's .. and fact's may be diferent - for you - and for me - the same goes for opinions, false calims and belief's, also for act's of different motivation (here you have the basic source fo all World Wars:san_wink: )
I find EB quite professional along with the conduct that is professional - I personaly had nice experience with EB team (and the Org. member's)
I can just say there are two lies in this thread - First is, that you in EB team are unprofessional, and second is, that I wanted to discredit EB teams work by claiming some 'B-lobby' is 'calling the shots'..
Honestly I am well educated to know better...:gah:
anyway's my apologise to the all EB's that found them self insulted by my mistake :stwshame:
