Can widows remarry?

I've found that alot of times when a family member dies they leave a widow (sometimes childless) in their 20's or 30's. Is it possible to get them to remarry? This would allow you to add a new family member...

Would be nice if it would as I now often "recruit" combat generals and keep my "true family" as .. er .. baby-machines ... :P (breeding governors)

Anyway its not possible, in Medieval II you can add spawned characters to the family-tree but you cant even do that in Rome/BI.
